It took us quite a while to find the hut as it is completely tucked away on a side road, but a lovely local man directed us to where we needed to go. We were greeted by our Air BnB host Lucia, moments after arriving she was really helpful, gave us tips on the best routes to walk and told us where to go if we needed anything. As soon as we got to the hut which was just a short walk across from Lucia's farm, we were left completely speechless at how beautiful the hut was, and how perfectly it was decorated in the inside. Despite the hut being quite small, we felt it didn't feel that way inside and we had a ton of room. Inside the hut was a king size bed, a kitchen and a full bathroom - pretty impressive huh?
We headed out for a short walk on the Friday evening to get our bearings but headed back as it started to get dark, and we didn't fancy getting lost in a pitch black woods only hours after arriving. Our first night in the hut was spend drinking beer, eating baked camembert, lighting a fire, admiring the stars - which may I add was quite possibly the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, and talking and laughing for hours. It was the perfect first night. We got up early on Saturday to ensure we could make the most of the day exploring. We set off with a stomach full of tea and bacon sandwiches and our walking boots at the ready.

After getting home from the best day of exploring, laughing, hiking, standing behind waterfalls and admiring the most incredible views. We got back to the hut, lit the fire, popped a bottle of prosecco, made nachos, sung along to a million songs and spent hours talking about everything
I can honestly say that our first experience glamping was the most incredible experience and I know that we are dying to go back already. One of my favourite things about staying in this beautiful hut was not having any service on my phone, it was so refreshing not checking my phone every 10 minutes and actually spending real quality time with Conor without any distractions.
