I have really dry lips which means drying lip products are a huge no no for me! These glide on really easily like a lipgloss and then dry to a matte finish, without making my lips chap. The texture is really creamy and not to cakey. The colours are really pigmented, meaning when you are purchasing the product in the shop, the colour is true to the packaging.

The colours i purchased were, Grand Cru, Nude-Ist and Happy Nude Year. I decided to purchase a dark red for a winter months, and who can have too many red lip products in their collection? Grand Cru also looks lovely with Tanya Burr's Mistletoe Kisses on top, just to give it a bit of shine rather than a matte lip. I then decided to purchase two nude colours. I'm really getting into nude lip products at the moment, very Kylie Jenner, I know! But although I did get two nude shades, they are quite different. Nude-Ist has more red tones whereas Happy New Year has a lot more coral tones through the colour.

I think that all three of these colours are wearable during the day with a plain eye, but to wear them in the night, I think they look beautiful with a smokey eye. I honestly can't speak highly enough of Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet products at the moment. I am always grabbing these out of my makeup bag for my go to lip product.
